Rachel Vaughan Wins First Place in New York State in the International DECA Competition

On April 23-26, 2016, Rachel and Joseph will attend the International Career Development Conference (Nationals) held in Nashville, Tennessee.

"Rachel, I am so proud of you...but not at all surprised. We were all so fortunate to have had you as a student since third grade and now as a staff mentor guiding our gifted students with your kindness and gentle wisdom. Your creativity, determination, brilliance and positive outlook on life are just some of the many gifts you have shared with us. You always have been a team player and able to cooperatively solve problems with ease and... might I add, a delightful sense of humor! Without equivocation, if you reach for the stars and pick out the ones you want, you will find success and happiness in anything you set your mind to do. Congratulations and good luck at the Nationals! We love you!" Tobi J. Phillips, Ed. D. (Cert.), President/ Founder, Village East Gifted, Inc..
